American adherants of which religious tradition are more likely to say that "many religions lead to eternal life": Evangelical Christians, or Muslims?
A. It's the same.
57 percent of American Evangelicals say that, and 56 percent of American Muslims do too. They're also with-in-the-margin-of-error equal on saying they are members of the "one true religion" -- 36 percent for Evangelicals, 33 for Muslims.
Both groups are totally in the middle of the spectrum of answers to both questions, being neither the most pluralistic nor the least in America today, according to The Pew Forum's Religious Landscape Survey.
